The biggest advantage of three-dimensional parking lot is to make full use of urban space. The traditional parking lot needs 1650 square meters to park 50 cars, while the tower parking with open-air elevator only needs 50 square meters, which has obvious advantages. From the cost point of view, the construction cost of three-dimensional parking garage is only about half of the construction cost of traditional parking garage. In addition, in the three-dimensional parking lot, the vehicle will turn off as soon as it enters the garage, and is automatically stored by mechanical equipment, which reduces the exhaust emission of vehicles in the garage, and has certain effect on environmental protection.

This year, China's automobile production and sales are accelerating. According to the statistics of China Automobile Industry Association, in the first quarter of this year, China's automobile production and sales reached 6.59 million and 6.527 million, respectively, 6.2% and 6.0% higher than the same period of last year, 0.9% and 2.1% higher than the same period of last year.

In addition, in the first quarter of this year, China produced 62663 new energy vehicles and sold 58125 vehicles, 1.1 times and 1 times higher than the same period of last year. As an efficient and convenient alternative, intelligent stereo parking garage is expected to usher in rapid development opportunities in the future.

Data shows that, last year, 2079 new garage projects were built in China, with a year-on-year increase of 5.3%, and 620000 parking spaces were built, with a year-on-year increase of 5.2%. From the perspective of product category, the vast majority of newly added three-dimensional parking spaces are up and down shifting type, accounting for 86.7%, which is the same as that in 2014; followed by simple lifting type, accounting for 5.7%; plane moving type accounting for 4.6%; vertical lifting type accounting for 1.6%; vertical circulation type accounting for only 0.06%, there is still a large space for development in the future.

In terms of policy, in March this year, the national development and Reform Commission issued the notice of "accelerating the construction of urban parking lots in the near future and the division of tasks", which requires increasing financial support for the construction of urban parking lots, supporting the development of parking equipment manufacturing, accelerating the application of high-tech in the parking field, promoting the integrated development of parking and Internet, and improving the utilization efficiency of parking resources. In addition, in December last year, the national development and Reform Commission, together with the Ministry of housing and urban rural development and the Ministry of communications, jointly issued the guiding opinions on further improving the charging policy for motor vehicle parking services, improving the formation mechanism of vehicle parking service charges, promoting the construction of parking facilities, improving the efficiency of parking resource allocation, and promoting the optimization and upgrading of the parking industry.
